The short version. We use your email and answers only to run the waitlist and to understand who needs nou. We never sell them, never use them for ads, and you can ask us to delete them anytime by emailing miyu.imai2000@gmail.com.
Who we are
nou is an early-stage product being built by Miyu Imai in San Francisco, California. If you have any question about your data, email miyu.imai2000@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- Your answers, if you give them: whether you grind or tense your jaw, how often you get tension headaches, whether a dentist has said you grind, and whether you play an instrument. All four are optional.
- The date you joined.
How we use it
- To let you know when nou is ready to try, and to send occasional updates. You can ask us to stop anytime.
- To understand, in aggregate, who grinds or tenses their jaw, so we build the right product.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with data brokers.
Who helps us
- Vercel hosts this website and receives your signup.
- Formspree stores waitlist signups.
These companies process data only on our behalf, to run the waitlist.
Your choices and rights
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, by emailing miyu.imai2000@gmail.com. We delete it within 30 days.
- If you live in Washington, Nevada, or another state with consumer health data laws, you have these rights over any health-related answers too, and you can use them the same way.
Not a medical device
nou is for general wellness. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Talk to a doctor or dentist about any health concern.
Age
nou is for adults 18 and older.

If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
